Hungry 4 Him Ministry

Mission Statement

Our vision is to serve with Kenyan church leaders to make disciples of orphans and other children of poverty, teaching them God's word, and showing them God's compassion by providing for basic needs.

Our Values

1. God's Word. We know the truth of God's Word and use it to set a strong foundation in the lives of the children we reach.

2. Meeting spiritual needs as well as physical needs. We know a relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important need a child has.

3. Healthy working relationships with national workers. We are careful to avoid unhealthy dependencies.

4. Making disciples, not just converts. We seek to teach these children to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ, so that as adults they can be disciple-makers as well.

5. Multiplication. We strive to build disciple-makers who can reach others for Christ and equip them to still reach more.

6. Equipping nationals to lead. Our goal is for any national ministry we work with to be adequately
trained and able to continue without assistance.

7. Servanthood. We are in Kenya to serve, not to lead or take over.

8. Church partnership with local churches in Kenya.

9. Accountability - financially and spiritually. We want to be held to the highest of standards and we hold our partners to these same standards.

10. Frequent visits to the areas we are working in. We make routine visits to the schools we assist in Kenya to keep in touch with our partners in ministry.

11. Financial and informational accountability with all of our supporters.

12. Orphan ministry. As Hungry4HIM grows we will assess other locations, but our focus will continue to be orphans and children of poverty.
