Dear Friends and Family of our Hungry 4 Him Ministry,
I wish to take a few moments to greet everyone and tell you of a few additions to our H4H team. Over the last several years we have been seeking to expand our board of directors to add fresh insight, gifts, and talents, as well as lighten the workload of our very thin staff. Also two of our very long time board members, Colby Kinser and Ben Byxbe, have felt the need to hand off their duties in order to focus on other pressing issues going on in their lives. Due to their commitment to this ministry they would not do this until they felt we had competent, willing workers to step up and fill their shoes.
In answer to prayers, God has sent such workers. With a willingness and a desire to be obedient to His calling on three people’s lives, we have been able to not only fill the gap of Colby and Ben stepping back, but actually still expand our Board. Praise God for His providing!
Barbara Roithner, Joel Baker, and Adam Cascio have all recently joined our H4H Board to team up and to be a part of carrying this wonderful responsibility of meeting the needs of the children, teachers, and workers in Kenya. To have a role in meeting the physical AND spiritual needs of these people. To Share the Good News of Jesus and to shine His light into the world. This is our calling and our mission. To which you all are a vital part of this effort. Without our H4H’s family’s spiritual and financial support our ability to make a difference is very limited. Through your faithfulness over the years, our Lord has blessed His people in truly amazing ways. Those in Kenya, and all those who have served Him in this effort.
All five current board members have had first hand knowledge of being in Kenya, meeting, teaching, and spending quality time with the children, visiting homes, and speaking at the schools and in churches. We have clearly seen the work God is doing to enrich the lives of His people there.

There has been a lot happening in the background for Hungry 4 Him, as we have just learned from Jeff Meyer’s letter. We are always striving to move forward toward helping those in need over in Ahero and Wachara, Kenya. The need is ever present as any time before, as Benards Vision Schools are growing alongside Hungry 4 Him. We love hearing of the Lord’s hand at work in all avenues, in ways that can sometimes be difficult see. His plan overrides all other plans, we are here to promote that and love as Jesus wants us to.
Growth
During Benards visit to the United States, there has been more of God’s hand working. Benard has been able to raise awareness for his growing vision toward the High-School in Ahero. Benards Vision School has been able to raise enough funds to purchase and begin the construction of the High-School! This is amazing news, and ALL thanks to the Lord for all of this. Jesus is surely providing for this endeavour.
Furthermore, Benards Vision School has also been able to raise funds to build a chicken coop and purchase several hundred chicks that will begin producing eggs very soon! This will provide a more stable food source to these children who desperately need it. Last time I was there, Benard frequently spoke with me the challenges of feeding God’s Children. May this provide an answer to some of his concerns!
Finally on this matter, through Benards visits, he has been able to reach out to new donors and sponsors for the teachers and children! This is what it is all about. The children. The whole purpose of Benard Vision. Saving these poor children as God has spoken to him to do. God Bless the new donors and sponsors and God Bless the current donors and sponsors. You all as a whole are making such a great, long lasting impact that you may never see. By the individual it is a huge impact, by the many it is a legacy impact that you are contributing to. The Lord Almighty has spoken on this matter, and we are answering. In Matthew 18:10, “An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, took a little child and had him stand beside him. Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.” You are surely welcoming these Children in Jesus’ name. We are all thankful for you!
God’s Glory
We have been praying to meet a need for Benards Vision School, as a well pump began to fail due to old age and fresh running water is vital to the school. The replacement cost was rather expensive and difficult to obtain. Unknowing, we were not sure how to meet this need as a Board! We prayed, along with many others and our God began to “make a move” as Benard would say. Corinth Church of Hickory, NC and God’s Little Ones of Columbia, SC raised funds to meet this huge need!! What a blessing and thank you to Corinth Church and God’s Little Ones for the generosity and the swift action to a call. It is wild to see how many ways God is working through all of us to strengthen His Plan. Psalm 72:19 “Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen!”
Donors Contributions At Work
To all of our donors and sponsors, you are the assets and strengths that the Lord God brings to our purpose here at Hungry 4 Him. May we continue to be the tool that the Lord Jesus uses to reach these individuals in Kenya. We are all volunteering and answering the call from Him alone. Through your efforts, an orphaned child is able to be in a home, fed, clothed and cared for. Benards Vision School is now able to begin building a high-school. Benards Vision School is able to bring in more children from the street as time presses onward. Benards Vision School is able to provide a stronger and more competitive educational program. This is what it is all about. I encourage each and every one of you to reach out, spread the word of Hungry 4 Him, as well as many other ministry partners about what Jesus is doing. These are actual results to the hard work YOU are all doing. Thank you so very much, and may God Bless all of you.
